Thank you for agreeing for the Child to contribute to our Podcast. In doing so, they will receive experience of the media sector, have the opportunity to meet new contacts, and learn new skills in an exciting environment. By signing and returning this letter, you acknowledge and accept that the Child's involvement in the Podcast, and entering into this agreement, is for the benefit of the Child.
 

In consideration of our paying to you (on behalf of the Child) the Fee, and in exchange for the benefits the Child will receive by participating in the Podcast, you agree as follows:

1. You are the Child's parent or legal guardian, and enter into this agreement voluntarily on your own behalf and on behalf of the Child, intending for it to be binding on both of you.

2. You acknowledge that the nature and purpose of the Child's Contribution has been explained to you. Insofar as possible, you have sought to explain this to the Child and are satisfied that they are fit, able and willing to participate. You will inform us immediately if the Child is no longer fit, able or willing to participate.

3. The Child will at all times remain your sole responsibility. You will at all times  accompany and supervise the Child, and shall not leave the Child unaccompanied, or otherwise request for us to supervise or care for the Child.

4. You consent to the recording and sharing of the Child's Contribution in connection with the Podcast, the nature and content of which has been explained to you.

5. You hereby irrevocably grant to us an exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty free right and license, under all existing and future rights that the Child has in the Child's Contribution (including without limitation copyright and performers' property rights), to use the Child's Contribution. You also hereby irrevocably give to us all consents necessary to enable us to make full use of the Child's Contribution worldwide in perpetuity in any and all types of media, whether now known or hereafter developed or discovered, and whether as part of the Podcast or as part of other content owned, controlled or represented by us, without further payment, liability (save as specifically set out in this agreement) or acknowledgement to you or the Child.

6. You agree that we may edit, copy, add to, adapt or translate the Child's Contribution, and dub it into foreign languages at our discretion.

7. You confirm that the Child irrevocably waives in favor of us and our future assignees and licensees the benefit of all moral rights and performers' rights in the Child's Contribution arising under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 or similar rights under the laws of any jurisdiction.

8. You grant us the right to issue publicity relating to the Child's Contribution in connection with the Podcast and any other podcast in which it may be included, and to use and publish for such purposes the Child's Contribution, the Child's name, details about them, and recordings of and interviews with the Child.

9. You understand and agree that we shall not be obligated to broadcast or exhibit the Child's Contribution, nor to exploit it in any other way.

10. You acknowledge that we will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by you or the Child in connection with the Child's participation in the Podcast other than death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

11. If any provision or part-provision of this agreement is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of this agreement.

12. You agree that we may at any time assign, mortgage, charge, declare a trust over or deal in any other manner with any or all of our rights under this agreement.

13. This agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales and we each irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement..
